How we work, and what we don’t do
We work on a regular schedule. We don’t take one-off two-hour cleans.
That’s not us being difficult, and it’s worth explaining why, because the reason is the same reason our regular customers stay.
Everything we’re good at depends on knowing a property properly. When we take on somewhere new, Liz or Rhys attends the first three cleans in person, we write a brief for that specific property, and we photograph how every room should look when it’s finished. We train the team on that brief. That whole apparatus only makes sense — and only pays you back — on somewhere we’re coming back to.
A stranger doing two hours in a house they’ve never seen, once, is a different product. Some companies are very good at it. We’re not set up for it, so we’d rather point you at someone who is.
If you need a one-off clean
Moving out, or moving in? That’s an end of tenancy or move-in clean, and it’s a fixed price.

Regular office and commercial cleaning
Offices, small commercial premises, and communal areas, cleaned on an agreed schedule by the same team each visit.
Daily, weekly or a few times a week — whatever the premises actually needs. Desks, kitchens and washrooms, floors, bins, glass, and the communal areas that everybody uses and nobody cleans. Consumables restocked if you’d like us to handle that too.
What our commercial customers tend to care about most is cover. Holidays and sickness are the reason office cleaning contracts fail. We run a primary team and a trained secondary team on every property, so when someone’s away your premises are cleaned by somebody who already knows it rather than somebody working it out.
We’ll also work outside your hours — early, evenings or weekends — so nobody’s hoovering round a meeting.
Regular domestic cleaning
Weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks, with the same cleaner.
This side of things is mostly for people we already know — owners whose holiday lets we look after who want their own home done too, landlords with a property they live in as well as let, and neighbours of properties we’re already at.
Same approach: a written brief for your home, the same trained team, and it’s done the way you want it rather than the way we assume.
What it costs
Priced on the schedule, not by the hour. Tell us the premises or the property, how often you want us and what needs including, and we’ll quote for the job.
We don’t publish an hourly rate, deliberately. An hourly rate tells you nothing useful about what a clean will cost or what you’ll get, and it rewards the wrong things.
There’s no VAT. JJ Cleaning is not VAT registered, so on a like-for-like contract we come in around 20% below a VAT-registered competitor without either of us cutting corners.
